Cobb Democrats Announce Support for Teilhet for Attorney General
Early Endorsements Show Strong Support, Coincide with Cobb JJ Dinner

SMYRNA  – On the eve of Cobb County's 21 st annual Jefferson Jackson dinner, six Cobb Senators and Representatives announced their endorsement of Representative Rob Teilhet in his bid to become Georgia's next Attorney General. The endorsements include:

State Senator Doug Stoner (Senate Dist. 6)

State Senator Steve Thompson (Senate Dist. 33)

State Representative Pat Dooley (House Dist. 38)

State Representative Terry Johnson (House Dist. 37)

State Representative Sheila Jones (House Dist. 44)

State Representative Don Wix (House Dist. 33)

“Rob Teilhet has the independence and the strength to stand up for Georgians, even against powerful forces,” said Representative Pat Dooley. “He's the only candidate for Attorney General with a record of fighting for everyday Georgians and standing up to special interests. I know he'll fight for us as Attorney General, because I've watched him fight for us as a State Representative.”

“Rob is a go-to guy for members of both political parties,” said Representative Terry Johnson. “Legislators continually seek his input on issues like consumer fraud and victims' rights.”

“I've been Rob's seatmate on the House floor for seven years,” said Representative Don Wix. “I've watched him work closely with Democrats and Republicans to create a safer Georgia for our families. He'll be a great Attorney General.”

Representative Teilhet and many of the public officials who have endorsed his campaign for Attorney General plan to attend the Cobb County 21 st annual Jefferson Jackson Dinner on Friday, June 19 at the Doubletree Atlanta Northwest Hotel.

Rob Teilhet (pronounced tuh-lay) has represented Smyrna and Marietta in the Georgia House of Representatives since his election in 2002 at the age of 28. He is the Chief Deputy Whip of the House Democratic Caucus and serves on the Judiciary, Education, and Industrial Relations Committees.
